Founder of the Confident Dentist Academy
I am the dentist who helps other dentists fall back in love with their work, while more freedom, time and income follow naturally.
My focus is one thing: helping you develop a patient journey so trusted and so consistent that financial growth becomes the natural result, not the goal you chase.
Meet Dr. Barry Oulton
A clinician of over 30 years, Barry spent nearly 25 of them owning and running an award-winning private practice in Surrey. He still treats patients today, which keeps everything he teaches grounded in the reality of the chair, rather than the theory of the lecture hall.
Known as The Confident Dentist
Barry is widely regarded as a leading authority on case acceptance and ethical practice growth. He coaches dentists and teams to move away from pressure and price objections, and towards trust, clarity and confident decisions. Helping good clinicians communicate the true value of their care.
Always Learning
Barry’s curiosity has taken him around the world to learn from the best, with advanced training alongside Kois Spear, the Dawson Academy, and Galip Gurel, and qualifications in NLP, hypnotherapy, and psychology. This baseline of training laid the foundations of The Confident Dentist Academy, supporting the wellbeing of dental professionals.
